When it comes to wine, there are a lot of choices. White, red, rosé, sparkling... it can be a lot. Plus, where cocktails can go with almost anything, some wines pair better with foods than others.

Luckily, you don't have to choose between these types of booze. When you blend these two worlds — literally — by making wine cocktails, it's a win-win. Thanks to their fruit base, wines provide a range of fruity flavors that make for some very tasty drinks.

Whether you're already a wine drinker or need a little help learning to love it, I think you'll enjoy these recipes!

devil's margarita

Named for the float of red wine that gives this drink a dark and mysterious look, the devil's margarita tastes like a regular lime margarita but with a slightly bittersweet, unique twist thanks to the wine. This two-layered drink is a showstopper that will wow your friends!

rosé champagne cocktail

Rosé sparkling wine is sweet, sparkly and perfect for mixing into a simple champagne cocktail. This bubbly drink is ready to celebrate any occasion and is easy to customize with different bitters or rock candy swizzles.

new york sour

Layers of color, texture and flavor make the New York sour stylish enough to hit the streets in SoHo. Essentially a whiskey sour with a red wine float, it's easy to make yet impressive to serve.

wine spritzers

Spritzers are a little bit magic, transforming a glass of wine into a cool refreshing drink perfect for any barbecue or summer gathering. A glass of wine — red or white will work – plus sparkling water and a fruit garnish make the ultimate sipper. The rosé wine spritzer is pretty, pink and perfect for brunch!

Red wine sangria is the common go-to when people think of wine cocktails. And why not? It's rich and refreshing, yet the cinnamon makes it cozy for year-round enjoyment. Plus, you can use any fruit you like which makes the flavor options unlimited! White wine sangria is another option, with sweet tart flavor and cooling mint that is begging for an invite to your next party.
