It's Oscar's Week! I'll admit, I'm not one to mark my calendar (it's on March 15) and count down the days to the show, but I do like to watch at least a little of it. And I love an excuse to mix up film-inspired drinks β€” we're talking old Hollywood classics, cocktails that played their own role in movies or those that exude glitz and glamour.

Here are the nominees for your Oscars night sippers:

midnight margaritas

This floral forward cocktail is inspired by the movie Practical Magic. Creme de Violette and lavender syrup pairs with smoky mezcal for a great margarita that is magical. Adding the lemon and lime juice changes the color slightly too, so this is a fun one!
