sorry santa, these christmas morning drinks may steal the show 🎅🏻

easy, elegant entertaining

Hey, Reader!

The next few days are shaping up to be full of holiday spirit. I'm a firm believer in starting the day off on the right foot, and for Christmas, that means festive drinks with holiday spirits!

Here are my favorites to help get your spirits merry and bright from the get-go:

christmas mimosas

Start your morning strong with a beautifully bubbly Christmas mimosa! With crisp champagne bubbles and tart cranberry juice, this cocktail is not too sweet and is instead light and refreshing.

Want something a little different? Cranberries lend a rich crimson color and seasonal flavor to enjoy in cranberry mimosaspomegranate mimosas give that same punch of color with another flavor profile. Caramel apple mimosas are another favorite around here.

eggnog latte

Spice up your morning with festive flavors in a creamy, delicious mug of cheer. Creamy eggnog drinks like this latte are honestly the underdog of the holidays — mix it with some bold espresso and you’ve got a drink that’s perfect to sip while opening presents.

If you're in need of more fuel, this gingerbread latte packs that classic spiced cookie flavor into a caffeinated beverage to keep you going while a sugar cookie latte is like eating a sweet treat before breakfast. A chestnut praline latte offers a warm sweetness that's ultra cozy for a cold morning.

grinch mimosas

Give these green mimosas a Grinchy twist with a green fur rim (sprinkles or shredded coconut). Thanks to a combination of orange juice, blue curaçao and your favorite champagne, just one sip will have you feeling like your heart has grown three sizes. 💗

bloody marys

Take your bloody mary from ordinary to ✨extraordinary✨ with the help of some festive garnishes! Try:

  • Christmas trees (rosemary sprigs)
  • ornaments (cherry tomatoes)
  • Grinch snacks (cocktail onions or blue cheese olives)
  • present-opening fuel (bacon)
  • jingle bells (sausage balls)
  • snowballs (brie cheese or mozzarella balls)
  • reindeer dust (flavored salt for the rim)

winter citrus spa water

Don't sleep on the hydration station! Four kinds of citrus and sprigs of fresh rosemary give this winter citrus spa water a festive look (and taste) to keep you and your guests going all weekend long.

Let all ages in on the fun with a festive and bubbly sparkling holiday mocktail. A sunrise mocktail is another easy option for any non-drinkers.

If you celebrate, merry Christmas to you and yours. I'm so grateful to have you following along!

Have a holly jolly week!

I don't think it's any surprise that Moscow mules are a fan favorite. They are one of my top requested recipes and everyone goes crazy for the many variations. Plus, mules have no season. They're refreshing in the summer, spicy enough to warm you in the winter and absolutely delicious every day of the year. There's even...

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! When it comes to wine, there are a lot of choices. White, red, rosé, sparkling... it can be a lot. Plus, where cocktails can go with almost anything, some wines pair better with foods than others. Luckily, you don't have to choose between these types of booze. When you blend these two worlds — literally — by making wine cocktails, it's a win-win. Thanks to their fruit base, wines provide a range of fruity flavors that make for some very tasty drinks....

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! I'm of the opinion that there are a few drinks every at-home bartender should have under their belt, and the classic mojito is one of them. It's easy to mix up and always a crowd pleaser. Rum, lime juice and fresh mint are a compelling combination that's delicious and refreshing; you can even opt for a virgin version so everyone can enjoy the flavors without the booze. The mojito also plays well with others — flavors that is! Fruit is an easy add-in...
