no olives in sight for these delights 🍸

easy, elegant entertaining

Hey, Reader!

The martini is an iconic cocktail, and for good reason. From the big screen to its popularity at the bar, it's a classic cocktail that is oh so classy.

Instead of the traditional recipe, we're giving dessert martinis their time in the sun. Rather than being dry and savory, these sippers are sweet and packed with flavor, making them oh-so-easy to enjoy.

Leave the olives in the fridge and sip on one of these treats instead:

strawberry lemon drop

This sweet berry twist on the classic lemon drop martini is a must-try. It’s refreshing berry bliss mixed with a tart lemon kick — the perfect balance of sweetness. Plus, despite its elegant appearance it's easy to make!

s'mores martini

Chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers are a winning combo in any form and this s'mores martini is no exception! Rich and indulgent flavors make it a perfect choice for a dessert cocktail or a sweet nightcap.

strawberry martini

This pink stunner is fun and fancy, perfect for warm-weather sipping. You just need three ingredients to make your own — consider making a bigger batch for your next celebration or get together.

appletini

This brightly colored stunner is making a comeback! Made with apple schnapps, vodka and a splash of orange liqueur, you’ll find it’s not too bright or overly sweet with a hint of 90's nostalgia.

pomegranate martini

If you want a drink that makes a statement, the pomegranate martini is it. With gorgeous color and a fresh, delicious flavor, this one is a perfect party sipper.

french martini

This pink cocktail may not actually be French, but it uses the French black raspberry liqueur called Chambord, hence the name. A classic cocktail, the French martini also features a kick from plain vodka and tang from pineapple juice.

I hope you'll give one (or more!) of these recipes a try! Let me know which one you're loving.

Get shaking!

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! I've been there too. Standing in the liquor aisle, with one hand scrolling through cocktail recipes and the other juggling bottles, deliberating what to buy while mentally tallying up the cost of everything in my cart. Let’s be honest — building the perfect bar cart without breaking the bank can feel like a full-time job. The good news? I have something totally free to share with you that’ll make booze shopping way easier. My friend Leah at Gastronom...

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! How do you feel about brandy? It has a tendency to get cast as a simple after-dinner drink or a source of holiday spirit, but it's so much more than that! Brandy offers a deep, sweet complexity that makes it perfect for mixing into cocktails in addition to sipping on its own. It comes from fermented fruit juice — yep, just like wine — so the flavors can vary widely. Pears, plums and grapes are commonly used to create different varieties. My advice is...
