Hey, Reader!
I love the idea of Friendsgiving. I mean, I'll take any excuse to get together with some of my favorite people before the holiday craziness sets in, but an organized event makes things extra special.
There's just something about sharing good food and good drinks with good company. And while wine is fine, a celebration deserves something special.
No matter what's on the table, these drinks are perfect for sharing:
apple cider sangria
Trade your usual sangria for delicious fall flavors! White wine, brandy, apple cider, ginger beer and spices combine in a big batch drink that's so cozy for a crowd.
pear punch
Boozy and light, yet flavorful, this Thanksgiving punch pulls in some flavors that are scarce through the season. Pear is often overlooked but offers a sweet earthiness that pairs perfectly with bourbon!
thanksgiving spa water
With fruits, herbs and spices to fit the season, this hydrating sipper pulls double duty as a stunning centerpiece. It looks fancy but doesn't take much effort to make, which is a definite win in my book!
mulled wine
There's nothing as cozy and welcoming as the smell of mulled wine! This warm sipper is festive and easy — make one batch instead of individual cocktails so you have more time to mingle.
pear cider
Cozy, warm and subtly sweet, this pear cider tastes — and smells — amazing! You can serve it warm or on ice, depending on what the occasion calls for — a slow cooker is my favorite hack for keeping things warm during a party.
If you're looking for a hostess gift or want to kick off the gift-giving, you really can't go wrong with a cocktail infusion kit. They are so easy to make and are a unique (and tasty) addition to any bar cart!
Enjoy!
