Hey, Reader!

I have been waiting for a warm weekend. Sure, I enjoyed being cozy on the couch with a warm drink but you really can't beat the sun shining as you sip something tasty on a patio.

When it comes to sunny weather sipping, you want bright flavors that acompliment the weather. Think florals, bubbles or anything bright and easy. Here are some favorites for the season:

lilac gin sour

This lilac gin sour is the perfect sip for spring! Make a lilac liqueur with fresh lilacs, and then add gin, lemon juice and an egg white! Couldn't be easier or tastier to celebrate the blooms of spring.

lillet spritz

An easy lillet spritz only requires a few ingredients, making it a bubbly and bright addition to your happy hour. Use either Lillet Blanc or Lillet Rosé for this recipe. We also included a fruit variation to customize the recipe however you want!

lavender lemon drop martini

This 5 ingredient lavender lemon drop martini is a refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for sipping in the spring. Made with vodka, fresh lemon, orange liqueur, and lavender syrup, this cocktail is a grown up version of lavender lemonade.

blackberry basil mocktail

This beautifully bold blackberry basil mocktail is perfect for warm-weather sipping! It’s packed with flavor thanks to a homemade simple syrup made with some of this season's finest ingredients.

Here's to patio weather!
