Hey, Reader!
When it comes to winter sippers, it's hard to beat a hot toddy. It's cozy, boozy and might just cure the common cold (at least according to some).
It's a great drink if you want something lighter than hot chocolate and with plenty of variations, there's something everyone will enjoy.
bourbon hot toddy
There is nothing better than warm bourbon, sweet honey, tart lemon and fragrant spices on a cold winter night. Whether you have a sore throat or simply need to warm up, this drink is one of my favorite nightcaps.
rum hot toddy
Break through the winter blues with a twist that gives your toddy tiki vibes! Citrus and rum are a match made in cocktail heaven — one sip and you'll feel like summer is right around the corner.
hot toddy with tea
This non-alcoholic version of the classic recipe uses a touch of sweetness, a touch of spice and just enough citrus to capture the flavor you know and love. It's perfect for sipping all winter long!
medicine ball
While technically not a toddy, this copycat recipe still stars citrus and honey. Add in mint, peach tea and lemonade and you've got a drink that's bright, soothing and oh so flavorful!
russian tea
Spicy, sweet and cozy, this tea-based drink is full of flavor. The key is using real spices and juices rather than any instant mixes. It works for everything from brunch to evening entertaining!
Stay warm out there!
