Hey, Reader!

Floral cocktails are some of my favorite spring recipes. I love the way they play into your senses, bringing a fragrant twist to drinks so they just feel like spring.

I've always enjoyed seeing the blossoms emerge after winter, but when I realized you can actually incorporate flowers into your drinks? That was pure magic.

Here are the recipes you need to know to help your season bloom:

flower ice cubes

While this may not be an actual cocktail, flower ice cubes are a great thing to have in your back pocket, er, freezer. They are so easy to make and instantly elevate any drink. If you're doing any entertaining this season, they're a must-make!

elderflower rose gimlet

A classic gimlet recipe is tart and herbal, so when you add the rose water and elderflower liqueur into the mix, it gives the drink a springtime feel. I recommend choosing a gin on the floral or botanical side versus the pine to compliment the other ingredients.

hugo spritz

This spring take on the classic spritz recipe gains it brightness from a combination of muddled mint, elderflower liqueur, Prosecco and soda water. The result is a bubbly, refreshing drink fit for any occasion!

rose champagne cocktail

This drink is a rosy riff on the elderflower french 75, using blush champagne and rose-flavored liqueur or rose water to give the cocktail the beautiful fragrance and flavor of roses. RosΓ© champagne would be the most classic choice for this cocktail; since the rose liqueur is sweet, you can get away with a dryer rosΓ© sparkling wine.

elderflower gin cocktail

This delicate beverage is perfect to sip on at any fancy party, and it’s so easy to make! This simple cocktail only requires four basic ingredients, but you can easily put your own twist on this recipe by adding different herbs and ingredients to shake up the flavor.

Floral simple syrups, like lavender or elderflower, are a great way to add a light floral touch to almost any drink. Butterfly pea flower syrup even adds color-changing magic! From lemonade to a lavender latte, the sky's the limit!

If you have a spring celebration coming up, I hope one of these recipes helps brighten the menu! πŸ’

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, most would say that summer is here. I would agree, despite the cooler temperatures β€” certainly not complaining as I know it'll be plenty hot soon! No matter what the weather looks like, a new season is the perfect chance to switch up your sips. While there are some summer favorites I just can't let go of (looking at you, margarita), there are so many good drinks out there to choose from! If you're feeling...

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! I've got big plans for the long weekend. Very exciting plans. Probably the best plans I've had in a long while. This weekend, I'm ... hanging at home. And while that may not sound super exciting, after a season of playing nurse to my pup and tending to alternating colds, I couldn't be more ready to say hello to summer. To really make a weekend at home more than just a weekend at home, you need something special. Enter, summer drinks. The best summer...

easy, elegant entertaining Hey, Reader! I remember when I thought tea was just for afternoon pick-me-ups and parties. Now I love bringing its cozy flavor and community-vibe to cocktails! Tea time can truly be anytime thanks to a tasty variety of hot and cold variations on the steeped sipper. The best part is that these drinks are easy to customize β€” swap out the sweetener, switch out the type of tea, add a complementary flavor β€” so that you're left with something you'll love. Whether you're...
