you don't need to be an elf to create great gifts 🤗

easy, elegant entertaining

Hey, Reader!

Starting to feel the holiday stress? Skip the craziness at the stores and make the perfect gifts for everyone on your list.

Homemade liqueurs are easy gifts you can whip up in your kitchen and bottle up to share. They are great gifts for party hosts and cocktail lovers and are an amazing addition to any home bar.

These easy gifts only require a trip to the grocery store and maybe the liquor store, depending on where you live. Gift these liqueurs in bottles, just add a ribbon and a gift tag! 🎀

Cocktail kits and gift sets are another great option. Everyone needs a little simplicity in their lives, especially during this busy time of year. Put together everything your recipient might need for a tasty cocktail and — voila! Another great gift idea!

Here are some of my favorite DIY recipes to spread cheer this year:

other favorites

hot chocolate bomb gift sets (booze optional)

Hot cocoa bombs (or salted caramel hot cocoa bombs, yum!) are a sweet and simple way to show someone you care. Level them up as a gift by pairing one with a mini bottle of booze for a cozy cocktail kit.

hot apple cider spice mix

From a festive rim for cocktails to an easy way to upgrade store bought cider, this cozy mix is great for gifting anyone on your list! I recommend making extra so you can enjoy some too!

mulling spices

When you combine a handful of whole spices, they can be enjoyed in so many different ways, making it the perfect gift! This mix can be used to make mulled wine, spiced apple cider, wassail and more.

cocktail infusion kits

Gift your favorite drink lover a DIY Cocktail Infusion Kit, designed to infuse your choice of alcohol with whole spices, dried fruit, herbs and sweeteners. The non-drinkers on your list can use these jars too, replacing the alcohol with hot water or using them as a simmer pot. These would make great gifts for a group of friends and have been such a hit with followers year-round!

hangover kits

While these handy kits are perfect after a night out, they're great for gifting too! Your recipients will love being prepared with whatever they need for a night out on the town.

mason jar gifts

If you want a gift that feels homemade without being fussy, you can't beat a mason jar gift. They're easy to make in batches so you can spread joy to friends, neighbors or as a hostess gift during the holiday season.

Now if only I could help with the wrapping... Hopefully this helps with your gift-giving — hit 'reply' and let me know what you end up making!

Cheers!

Susannah

P.S. If you need any more holiday cocktail or gift ideas, my ebook Holiday Spirits is still available! You can download it and print it to give as a gift or use it to find some recipes to make for Christmas and New Year's. Thank you for supporting me! ❤️
