Hey, Reader!
Not all trends are worth trying, but some are good enough to keep on the menu.
Whipped coffee was one that I had my doubts about. This popular Korean drink gained its popularity in 2020 using instant coffee due to limited availability of ingredients during quarantine.
Despite my hesitancy, this drink actually won me over. The texture of the coffee is thick and frothy, but with all the flavor of a usual café au lait. I like that it doesn't need many ingredients, most of which you probably already have at home.
Whether you need to jumpstart your day or are craving an afternoon pick-me-up, give this drink a try!
Instant coffee: It has to be instant, but any kind will work, even instant espresso.
Granulated sugar: Use any kind of granulated sugar, such as white sugar, brown sugar or raw sugar. If you prefer an alternative, try coconut sugar or monkfruit sweetener.
Hot water: This one is simple! Heat it in a kettle or even in the microwave.
Milk: Your preferred milk works well. Warm it or keep it cold — it's up to you!
