warm drinks for cold days ☕

easy, elegant entertaining

Hey, Reader!

Well, winter is still in full swing and even if you're not having to pull on some snow boots and shovel, the days can get a bit dreary. Enter: warm drinks!

There's nothing better than something cozy in your cup while you enjoy a good book or binge a show. (I've been doing a lot of the second lately — right now, we're enjoying that Fallout is back. If you're watching anything good, I want to know!)

These are some of my favorite recipes to curl up with on the couch:

spiked hot chocolate

On it's own hot chocolate is a classic that warms you from head to toe. But when you add a bit of booze? This childhood favorite gets a new lease on life!

hot toddy

The hot toddy is a winter classic — some people even swear by it to cure the common cold! Try it with your favorite bourbon, make honey whiskey at home for a sweet twist or opt for a non-alcoholic version with tea.

cinnamon dolce latte

If you need to kick-start your day or spice up an afternoon, a decadent cinnamon dolce latte is just the thing! Cinnamon and a hint of vanilla pair flawlessly with coffee and cream.

medicine ball

If you're under the weather, or just need a pick-me-up, you can't beat this honey citrus mint tea. It's a copycat of the Starbuck's favorite that people swear by to shorten a cold.

white hot chocolate

There’s something extra special about creamy white hot chocolate — this rich and decadent drink is so comforting and cozy! Made with real, melted white chocolate, this sweet sipper is one of my favorite winter recipes.

Give one of these a try the next time you feel that winter chill creeping in!

Pröschtli! (That's a Swiss cheers.)
