Hey, Reader!
There's one flavor that's nearly synonymous with fall: pumpkin. By the end of August, pumpkin is around every corner β in lattes, cocktails and more.
That's all well and good if you're a pumpkin stan, but not everyone is! The good news is that if you prefer to keep pumpkins on your porch instead of in your cup, there's still a way to capture those cozy fall flavors.
A spiced simple syrup is an easy way to give any drink a fall makeover. I love it in a latte to jump-start my mornings, but it's super tasty in drinks like the classic old-fashioned too.
One of the things I love about this recipe is that it's flexible. Use your favorite spices or whatever you have on hand to create a custom blend that's perfectly cozy for cooler days. In a latte, you can use your favorite espresso and milk for a drink that hits all the right notes.
I'm curious how my followers shake out, so I have to ask β how do you feel about pumpkin?
