Hey, Reader!
If you've been here awhile you'll know that whenever I'm entertaining I have a mocktail option on the menu. It gives those underage, driving or who simply prefer not to imbibe something to enjoy outside of just water or soda.
There are also some occasions where mocktails just fit the vibe better than an actual cocktail. For fall that could mean trips to the pumpkin patch, a visit to the corn maze, a chili cookoff...
Luckily, skipping the booze doesn't mean you miss out on the fun seasonal flavors that drinks can provide. These are some of the best for any fall occasion:
cranberry orange mocktail
Sweet citrus and gentle ginger spice balance the tart cranberry juice in this bubbly beverage. Since there's no booze, the depth of flavor comes from the different juices and ginger beer.
pear mocktail
This mocktail uses a homemade pear syrup, combining it with pear nectar, fresh lime juice and spicy ginger beer for a drink that hits sweet, tart and warm notes all at once.
virgin white russian
This tasty take on a the classic cocktail only requires four ingredients to make and is ready in minutes. The secret to its tantalizing flavor? Zero-proof coffee liqueur!
hot toddy with tea
Outside of the hot tea, the recipe for this hot toddy mocktail is very similar to the classic cocktail recipe. A touch of sweetness, a touch of spice and just enough citrus make this such a cozy sipper!
mulled cider
This recipe is one of my favorite hosting hacks! Mulling spices transform a store-bought cider for a drink that's got depth β as a bonus, your house will smell amazing!
Which one will you try first? I think these are going to be a hit all season long.
Cheers!
