Hey, Reader!
When it comes to Halloween celebrations, you want to be sure to include at least one drink on the menu that doesn't include any booze. Actually, that's my rule of thumb for any gathering — think beyond water or soda with a mocktail to ensure everyone is included.
You can opt for a recipe that skips the booze altogether or choose to transform a favorite recipe with a non-alcoholic spirit. Add in a few special effects or fun garnishes and you're left with a total treat.
With these drinks on the menu, all you need is a costume and some candy!
cucumber kiwi halloween mocktail
Cool cucumber and tart kiwi blend into a murky, swamp-green drink that looks properly creepy in the glass. This Halloween mocktail tastes much friendlier than it appears!
halloween sangria
My virgin sangria recipe uses multiple kinds of juices for a depth of flavor that's complimented with spices so you won't even miss the wine. Add the spooky garnishes from the Halloween sangria and you've got a batch drink everyone will love!
dry ice drinks
Fog spills over the rim the moment dry ice hits a glass of bright juice, which makes these drinks the showpiece of any spooky mad scientist Halloween spread. Any colorful juice works as the base, so grab whatever shades look the most potion-like.
bloody mary syringes
Tangy, peppery tomato juice, not blood, fills these Bloody Mary syringes. Essentially single-serving portions of a virgin Bloody Mary, these savory shots double as a prop
black margarita
This dark and spooky sipper uses food coloring to achieve its midnight-dark hue. The black vodka post explains how much to use, and any non-alcoholic tequila can stand in for the spirit while the tangy lime flavor still comes through.
