Hey, Reader!

There's something about a sparkling drink that feels instantly celebratory β€” like the fizz alone signals that something good is happening.

For anyone skipping the alcohol, that feeling can be easy to lose. A glass of water or a soda doesn't quite have the same energy as a flute of something bubbly.

Well, here's my controversial opinion: Celebrations don't even have to include bubbles at all. I think about this a lot because my sister-in-law can't have carbonated drinks β€” bubbles just don't agree with her. When she was pregnant, I wanted her to have something that felt just as special at every family toast and backyard cocktail hour.

Anyway, these drinks are my answer for summer entertaining β€” bubbly mocktails that look and feel like the real thing, so everyone can clink glasses in style. (And if you need something without the fizz, this margarita mocktail is my sister-in-law's standing order.)

citrus ginger beer mocktail

This mocktail is filled with bold and bright flavor that leaves you with a non-alcoholic drink that feels fancy. It's easy to make β€” I recommend using fresh citrus juice to really pack in the most flavor.

shirley temple

Bright in color and fruity in flavor, the Shirley Temple is a classic for a reason! This sweet sipper is loved by all ages and can be made to serve a crowd.

virgin mule

This drink is simple, but doesn't lack any flavor. With spicy ginger beer and tart lime, you're left with a refreshing drink just calling for a copper mug.

sparkling balsamic mocktail

Balsamic may sound like a strange addition to your sip, but the tart flavor is so good! These drinks are light, bubbly and can be dressed up with fun and festive ice cubes.

homemade ginger ale

Homemade ginger ale is zesty and refreshing with a little kick, but you get to control the final flavor. It’s perfect on its own or as the base for some creative mocktails.

I hope these drinks help your end of summer celebrations sparkle.

Cheers!
Susannah
